A chocolate chip cookie, rebuilt on millets
This is the cookie that started Twin Bites. We wanted the chocolate chip cookie we grew up loving — crisp at the edges, soft in the middle, chocolate in every bite — without the maida. So we rebuilt it on jowar and ragi, two millets Indian kitchens have trusted for generations.
Jowar gives the dough a mild, slightly sweet, golden base. Ragi adds depth and a gentle nuttiness. Together they bake into a cookie that tastes like a treat, not a compromise.
What's in it (and what isn't)
- Millet flours: jowar and ragi — no refined flour, no wheat flour
- Real chocolate chunks
- Just enough sugar to let the chocolate shine
- No eggs
How to enjoy it
Each cookie is a generous 40g. Warm it for 8–10 seconds in the microwave and the chocolate goes soft again. Prefer less sugar? Switch to monk fruit on the menu — same millet dough, sweetened without cane sugar.
Order a batch of 6 to try, or 12 or 24 to save more per cookie. We bake to order and need 2 days' notice.
